Impacto del desbalance sobre la determinación de las pérdidas técnicas de energía eléctrica en líneas de distribución de baja tensión
Main Article Content
Abstract
To determine technical energy losses, electric power distribution companies in different countries use various calculation methodologies, which rely on information from their respective power systems. It is common for these calculation methods to be based on computational tools that solve power flow equations using data from the electrical system under analysis, assuming it to be balanced. However, this assumption does not fully reflect the system's actual operating conditions, since the currents in three-phase lines exhibit a degree of unbalance, which leads to an increase in the value of technical losses. Considering the above mentioned and acknowledging the real operating conditions of electric power distribution systems, there arises the need to incorporate correction factors to bring the calculated loss values closer to the actual ones. The purpose of this work is to determine a correction factor that allows reducing the error in the quantification of the technical losses of low-voltage lines, regardless of their length, active power transmitted, as well as the variations in voltage and current in their phases.
