Implementación de prácticas profesionales en la articulación escuela técnica-universidad: una experiencia de análisis de suelos

Abstract
Professional Practice is an educational strategy that strengthens the articulation between technical secondary education and University, fostering the development of both technical and transferable skills through real-world learning experiences. This paper presents the experience carried out during 2025 at the Basic Chemistry Laboratory of the National Technological University - La Plata Regional Faculty, within the framework of an Extension Project involving students from two technical secondary schools in La Plata. The program included training in laboratory safety, soft skills, and research methodology, complemented by the physicochemical characterization of soil samples collected by the participants. The results demonstrated a high level of engagement, with a 73.33% completion rate, while non-completion was exclusively related to absenteeism rather than a lack of competencies. Furthermore, the experience strengthened the connection between the university and the technical schools and allowed for the assessment of technical competencies, skills, and attitudes related to professional training. As an indicator of educational continuity, it was observed that 46.67% of the participants expressed their intention to continue their studies at the UTN-FRLP.
